Sara is qualified as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT). She is currently provisionally accredited by the British Association for Behaviour and Cognitive Psychotherapists (BABCP). This means that Sara is supervised weekly and keeps up to date with current CBT practices.
Sara has over 5 years experience working within the NHS in Mental Health Primary Care settings. Sara has focused on client groups with common mental health problems such as depression and anxiety disorders.
Her specialist area of interest is in low self-esteem, stress, sleep and long term physical health conditions (IBS, pain). She has also additional complementary training in Third Wave CBT approaches such as Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT).
She is passionate about the mind-body connection and helps clients feel more connected and rooted into their everyday experiences.
